¡OLÉ! was started by Jami Reinberg. Jami began her teaching career in North Shore School District 112 (in Highland Park, IL, a suburb of Chicago) where she worked for 14 years. She taught seventh grade Spanish and bilingual literature and social studies for five years. Then, Jami created the curriculum for the elementary Spanish program (grades 1-5) and taught Spanish to students at the elementary level for the next nine years. In 2009, Jami left NSSD112 to start ¡OLÉ!. In December 2020, ¡OLÉ! relocated to Laguna Niguel, CA.
For over 10 years, ¡OLÉ! taught Spanish classes throughout Chicago's North Shore in private pre schools, at local park districts and in after school programs at elementary schools. We also tutored all levels of Spanish for Chicago's north shore junior high and high school students. In January 2021, we began teaching at home classes in our new home, Laguna Niguel. We also continue to do in person tutoring in south OC, as well as, virtual tutoring with Chicago area clients.
Our classes combine art, music, movement, games and culture to foster a love for the Spanish language.
